This site is owned and operated by Jubayer Hossain (heyjubayer.dev). This policy explains what information is collected when you use this site, the contact form, or a field-guide unlock, and how it is handled.
1. Information you submit
When you use the contact form, you voluntarily provide your name, email address, inquiry type, and the contents of your message. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry. It is never sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
When you unlock a field guide, you provide your email address. That address is sent through Web3Forms so I can deliver access and may be used to follow up about project work. It is not sold. A signed cookie on your browser keeps the guide unlocked for 90 days on that device.
2. Automatically collected data
This site uses Vercel Analytics, Vercel Speed Insights, and Microsoft Clarity to collect routine technical information (such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and performance). Clarity also records session replays, clicks, mouse movement, and scroll behavior so I can see how the site is used. These tools may set first-party cookies. Theme preference is stored in your browser's localStorage on your device, not on any server.
3. Third-party services
The contact form and field-guide unlock are processed by Web3Forms. Scheduling uses Calendly. Hosting, analytics, and speed insights are provided by Vercel. Session replay and heatmaps are provided by Microsoft Clarity. These services have their own privacy policies and handle your data according to their terms. Links to external profiles (LinkedIn, GitHub) are governed by those platforms.
4. Data retention & deletion
Contact submissions are kept only as long as needed to handle your request. To request deletion of any personal data you have submitted, email jubayer.dev81@gmail.com.
5. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact me at the address above for any such request.
6. Changes
This policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
